a magical day in the life of

***if at first you don't succeed, give up and play around***

which is what I have done for the moment...yesterday I did a little more on a doll but got a little bored and distracted....I think not sleeping properly and being up half the night makes focusing rather hard....later I went to visit a friend to see her new house they have just had built...my what a place...can't wait till they fill in the pool...won't be until the spring though....then went to see another friend to whom I delivered apples from the stash in the garage....then drove around the bay as it was a beautiful afternoon....sunshine is like a tonic, it's good for you but you can never get enough of it....well at the moment anyway....the days are drawing in so later I lit the candles made some chop and watched Blood Diamond.... it was a very good movie and portrayed very well the conflicts of some African nations....society has a lot to answer to with regard to exploitation of the continents resources...most times we lay people haven't a clue what goes on in these places or indeed do we even care...well yes I guess a lot of us do but doing something about it is just too big a thing.... anyway seeing as I gave up for the day on the sewing I have put together this lovely Mosaic using images from very clever and talented people....these photos are truly lovely and makes me want to look and look and look.....hope you feel the same
