The feast is such as earth, the general mother,
Pours from her fairest bosom, when she smiles, In the embrace of autumn.
I will be always amazed at the array of plants and produce the Earth gives us.....I think it is soooo clever....humans are clever too but not as clever as this Planet Earth we call home.....

HELLO Mandi! I love this and your last post. I tried to leave a message on your last post but something went haywire and then I ran out of time.
I am always thinking about the bounty of the earth and how fortunate we are to live where we do with ample everything. I think that people get too caught up in the manmade world and don't stop enough to appreciate what nature has to offer.SO many things that are small miracles in themselves. Such beauty!!!
We all need to be thankful. In my part of the world there is a lot of emphasis on having a large home and at times I start to think that we are a little odd being content with the small cottage we have. THEN I think...."We have so much more than a large proportion of the rest of the world".....and for that I am very thankful and I have decided that we are not odd afterall!

PS.We are having some of that beautiful rain today that you get so tired of in your part of the world. It has come just in time as things were starting to curl up with the heat and dry.
