Old Glory

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands,one Nation under God,Indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all.

The Union Jack

White - peace and honesty
Red - hardiness, bravery, strength & valour
Blue - vigilance, truth and loyalty, perseverance & justice

I made these painted quilt flags just because I felt like it.....the American one is double- sided calico and the British one is from two layers of muslin.....they are painted in acrylic paints and waxed....all rather fun really and will be for sale should anyone feel so inclined to have one.....
