sunny sunny day and the birds are singing....they too are happy with the world ....not that I'm exactly happy more like...it's sorta okay....cat caught a mouse which annoyed me....dear little thing had a nasty hole near the heart and then died...all the cat did was run off and leave it....that is what does annoy me about cats.....I'm not that fond of the creatures (cats)....would never harm them but I reckon they are the most selfish thing around apart from humans that is....want and take when it suits them....then dump you as soon as look at you....selfish selfish selfish.....sure you do get lots of affectionate ones.....but only when they want a cuddle will they show affection and not within an inch of their nine lives will they really admit it is their decision...more like under sufferance...'Ok I suppose I aught to have a cuddle so you don't get in a mood....besides I want my dinner later....need to keep the strength up to mutilate some other creature smaller than me'....
oh , well I shall just look at my roses and contemplate my navel....no not an orange....

Shame on you being in a mood with all cats, I'm nice and I don't eat things that I have to kill, I only eat what my mummy gives me.
We are not all selfish you know.
Although I have to admit, humans were placed on this earth to be 'staff' for cats! Hee hee

Funnily enough though, in our home, the boys adore our cat Bella, I'm always looking out for her and making sure she is alright and would cry if any harm came to her...still I can't help but seeing her the way you just described.
