***all changes***
and their hidden meanings....
outside is total disruption due to guttering being pulled off and repaired....windows being pulled out and replaced.....banging drilling thumping....you name it is being done...and to top it all it's b......y raining again.....of course maintenance must be carried out and normally I don't mind but perhaps my patience is not what it used to be....I just can't help feeling fed up.....the mess gets to me to...why can't the workmen clean up after them....they trudge all over the place with dirty feet....they leave wood shaving all over the kitchen ..and when they go home they leave all the rubbish and rotten wood pieces down the driveway....and who cleans it up...me.....grrrrrr....perhaps my lesson is to stay calm and nice and patient...no chance...new rector is coming to check out the rectory again on Friday and it would have been nice had the place been a little smarter....not that I feel like going out and doing anything in this weather....sooooooo....I am going to indulge in showing the Harvest decoration in our church.......that is calming that is inspiring that is not in need of clearing up so I will go and enjoy that.......

and it is just as well that I have these flowers to enjoy cos looking outside this window as I type I can see paper coffee cups and rotten wood discarded in the driveway right where the work mans van was parked....he's gone cos of the rain....typical...wouldn't want to catch a cold cleaning up now would he......till soon....
toodleooooooo.......
1 of your thoughts.....:
Argghhhh!!! I feel your frustration.
We had to put up with various workmen coming and going, and their associated noise, mess and bother for about 2 years whilst getting this place to its current standard.
Let's hope this lot over at yours get the job done properly and gone, sooner rather than later.
Lovely church and the arrangements breath taking.
I've managed to pot up a few baskets and containers...though I won't be holding my breath on them looking like your beauties...still I had fun, and look forward to watching them grow and bloom.
Take care, xo Kali
