***staring out the window***
and wondering what the rest of the world is up too.....my Christmas remnants have been put away for another year...amazing how long it takes to put up...a whole week in fact and the whole shebang takes just a day to dispose of....I can't work that out as I place the same things in the same place each year and it still takes the same amount of time to do whatever it is I have to do........my sewing has gone slightly awry...might try to do some more today...I have so many ideas and they simply dissolve when I get those scissors in my hands....not that I don't feel like Anthony Perkins from Psycho cos my emotions could run that way if I allowed them too.....what I should have had is more children....it was great making stuff with them and for them....all those little knitted dresses and shimmering plastic body warmers I used to conjure up for them....mmmmmm perhaps it's best I stopped at just the two.....it would have been cruel to subject more children to my creations....anyway when I have done a little More I shall put it here, after all I won't have you think I am slacking....get those needles out...so until next time

toodleooooo..........
3 of your thoughts.....:
Ah yes, those bare and empty days after Christmas when the house looks so plain... I know them well! Actually this year it was kind of nice to have the "plainess" instead of all that clutter. I think I'm going through a declutter stage in my life, maybe getting prepared for retirement in about ten years when I dream of happy-go-lucky world travels... Now is the time to start on fresh, new projects that will help you start the new year in an exciting way with dreams of things to come. I've seen your creativeness and can't wait to see what comes next, so YOU GO GIRL!!!
Yes it all seems bare doesn't it
Wonderful aprons you make - I am just catching up with your posts - brilliant
This year I have absolutely loved putting the tree away (it went on the 3rd) and getting the house ready for the new year. I have wonderful plans for decorating, nothing special, more getting around to doing things that I haven't wanted to do for ages!
Good luck with the scissors and your sewing - can't wait to see the results.
