***a day's walk in pictures***

twisted ivy roots and stems attached to old oak tree

see the slater crawling through the lichen on old oak tree

the fields are wet from the winters rain.....look towards the dampned sky in search of warmth....and there is some......
just a little as those few rays of golden sun reach down to lift the spirits glum....
but not for long this mood I keep ...... for my searching gaze on wonders leap....
you see that ancient twisted vine?.....it clings so steadfast, it's home divine....
and see those fragile nodding heads of white as precious snowdrops parade to my delight.....and just to top this magic scene a slater meanderes through this tall oak's lichen, hoping against all hope to remain unseen....
for there are we....my mechanical eye and me.... recording these many delights for all to see.......

so until next time enjoy...
